Leagues
In 2026 HBC played in the Broadland, Yarmouth, North Walsham leagues and the Norfolk 3-wood county tournaments. We also play in cup matches with other teams in the county and have a singles and pairs competition within the club. This year we also introduced a one-day Chris Nudd Cup.

Cup and trophy competitions - 2026
We were runners up in the Donny Pearce Trophy, the Broadland Cup and the North Walsham Cup.
We got to the semi-finals in the Watering Bowl Cup and the Lacon Cup.
In other competitions Sarah Smith was the Ladies Club Champion of Champions and Stuart Elliott was the Men's club Champion of Champions.
Laurence Beales won the Marjon Trophy and Richard Colman won the club singles competition.

In 2024 we reached the semi-final of the Yarmouth Lacon Cup (we were beaten in the final by Martham 'A'), and we came fifth in the County 3-wood league, seventh in the North Walsham Triples league and sixth in the Yarmouth League (see below).
BELOW ARE THE RESULTS FOR 2023 AND 2022
Hickling came top of the North Walsham Triples league in 2023, edging ahead of North Walsham New Road and Coltishall to take the title. We fared less well in the Norfolk County 3-wood leagues with the A team coming halfway down the table and the B team second from bottom. We were fourth in Division 1 of the Broadland League. In the In-House League, the Bees were the top team, with 27 points and a shot difference of 38, ahead of the Hornets in second place.

We came eighth out of eleven in the North Walsham Triples League in 2022
In the In-House team contest in 2022 Jupiter came top, ahead of Pluto and Mars. Congratulations to the Jupiter team: Doreen Beales, Laurence Beales, Deborah Mayhew, Eileen Mayhew, Dennis Smith, Ian Smith, Terry Smith, Sarah Smith and Terry Watson.
